The first option is to archive the copy of the old Gmail account and transfer all your emails to the new account. This will remove the messages from the old inbox and move them to the Archive folder. To do this, you need to sign in to the other account with the same credentials as you did in the old account. Then, click Continue to confirm that you want to transfer the emails from the other account. Then, close the window that says "Authentication has been completed".
After you have imported all your emails to the new account, you can choose whether or not to keep the original messages. Once the transfer is complete, you can decide what to do with the original messages. You can archive, delete, or mark the messages as read. After importing all your emails to your new account, you will need to log into your old Gmail account and open the Import button. After this, you will need to enter your old Gmail address and password.
Once you've successfully transferred all your emails to your new account, you can select the messages you wish to keep in the old Gmail address. Then, you'll need to manually select the messages that you want to move. After selecting them, you will need to choose which ones to import. If you've moved a lot of emails, you can choose the ones you want to save and move into your new Gmail.

Alternatively, you can download all of your Gmail emails to another Gmail account and store them in it. You can also use Google Takeout to backup all your emails. This allows you to transfer all the emails you've previously imported to your new Gmail account. You can also choose to delete all the messages you want to import to your new account. However, you may not want to do this if you don't want to lose the messages.
